Wonderfully Perfect Cat-astrophe

While many people would think of a learning difference to be something to be ashamed of and something to hide, I really love to embrace the fact that I am dyslexic. When I tell initially tell people about this aspect of myself, many people instantly feel sorry for me and make a list of things in their head that they feel I cant do- but this isn’t always true! Before you ask YES I know my B’s from my D’s and my M’s from my W’s- that isn’t even a symptom tom of dyslexia, and yes my spelling is terrible, but there are so many things that I am better at then most people because I am dyslexic. For instance I tend to be more creative and a better problem solver than most because so many aspect of my daily life require me to think outside of the box in order to preform tasks most people don’t even think about. This way of looking at my dyslexia helps me view my learning difference in a positive light and focus on growing with it and being proud of who I am, rather than hiding it behind me. For these reasons this cat speaks to me and my strength in creativity that is a superpower given to me by something others would think to be a hinderance.
